Will Justin Bieber Let Sandy Get In His Way

Even a hurricane cannot stop Bieber Fever. Justin Bieber’s Believe Tour is rolling into the New York-New Jersey area in full force starting November 9th. In preparation for this part of his East Coast visit, Bieber is tweeting all of his fans about ways they can help out the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Bieber is using his influence over $29 million Twitter followers bring in money to support the Red Cross. His recent texts have read: “Help #Sandy survivors. Donate to the @redcross via @itunesmusic at itunes.com/redcross. Out of US, visit redcross.org” — Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) November 2, 2012 and “#giveback” — Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) November 2, 2012.

Bieber is in contact with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie who urged Bieber to use his influence to help those who are still without power or roofs over their heads. Giving back has always been a part of Justin Bieber’s message to his followers and his continued Tweets show this “Gonna try to work with Red Cross to have u guys all help donate for those affected by hurricane sandy” — Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) November 4, 2012. Bieber is letting everyone know the multiple ways they can aid the Red Cross and the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Justin Bieber’s Believe Tour is traversing the entire east coast hitting New York City twice (three shows, two in Madison Square Garden). The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City is accepting donations. The Red Cross is accepting donations via text message (texting 90999 to make a $10 donation), by phone (800-733-2767) or visiting redcross.org. Cash donations can be sent to: The American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013. Wells Fargo ATMs will be accepting donations until November 13th. If fans have the time, making a visit to the New York City area contributes to the general economic recovery that is essential after a disaster like this.
