The Unilever Lifebuoy Global Hand Washing day (GHD) 2012 is an event designed to promote hand washing (with soap and water) amongst children especially those aged 5 and below, as a means to combating diarrhea which is responsible for the deaths of 3,000 children under 5 everyday.
This year’s theme is tagged “help a child reach the age of 5”.Become an ambassador by pledging to help a child reach the age of 5 on October 15 2012 as GHD marks 5 years.
