Apple bows to Taylor Swift on streaming payments

Tech giant Apple late Sunday bowed to pressure from pop superstar Taylor Swift and raised payments to artists for its forthcoming music streaming service.

Swift, saying that she was speaking up for artists afraid of upsetting Apple, had called the company's behavior "shocking" over its earlier plan not to pay for streams during customers' initial three-month free trial.

Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet software and services, said late Sunday that the company had shifted course and would compensate for streams in all stages.
Apple music "will pay artist(s) for streaming, even during (customers') free trial period," he wrote on Twitter.

Natasha Has A Brand New You Tube

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while something really bad happened! I tried logging into my YouTube account and it wouldn’t let me, an error page kept appearing so I Googled around to see what was happening, if Google was down or something and someone said it’s because the account had been suspended so I YouTube’d one of my videos and then when I clicked on it a message appeared saying the ‘users account had been closed’ so right about then I didn’t know what to do, I had worked really hard to get the subscribers and the views that I did. So anyway I contacted YouTube and all I got was an auto replied message they had not emailed me why or when it had happen! Today I received an email saying it was because ‘I did not have a full YouTube account, that I was only logged in with Google plus’ I don’t understand that! To be honest, out with old in with the new right? A video every week! Whether it is a cover or an original song, it is going to be there! I got new recording software for my computer that was really cool so I do like to do covers now I have the software to record them well! Anyways I have had my new account nearly a week and I have two songs on there, one of my own and a cover of Marvin’s room by drake so check them out!! Here is my new YouTube page! http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgHbqc6zowjnwyRVUtUkKOg?feature=mhee

Tasha Back With A Brand New Song/Video

Hey everyone!

So I finally got a video up for my new song called ‘All You Couldn’t Do’. Basically what the song is about is a conversation me and my mum once had and a few things she wrote in a letter she had for me to read after she passed away! I will start from the beginning so you understand the story. When my mum was younger she was a dancer, a really good one at that, she auditioned for a really good dance school when she finished high school and amazingly enough she got in, when she went to tell her Dad and step-mum (my mum’s mum passed away when she was 2) they said that she couldn’t go to the dance school because she had to get a job to help pay bills! So throughout my life my mum had always been so supportive of me, there was nothing she told me I couldn’t do because she didn’t want me to be treated how she was and miss out on any opportunity! This song is a mix between the things my mum said to me and me giving a message to everyone else, kind of like I was sharing my mum’s advice! I think that if you have a dream whether it’s to become a singer, dancer, teacher or a doctor just anything, the only person that will hold you back is yourself! My mum told me “dreams are precious so when you have one you believe in, grab it with both hands and don’t let it go”. Moving on from the meaning of the song onto how it felt like to record to a melody I hadn’t thought up myself. I didn’t find the writing part of it difficult but I found recording it difficult! I felt really afraid of going wrong and scared to try and hit notes so I feel that the song is quite restricted! But I told you all I would try it so I put the video up on my YouTube page anyway! I wrote about having writers block in my last blog and ironically enough straight after recording this song I picked up my guitar and wrote a whole new song so there will be no waiting around for the next video I just need to record it! Excited!

Madonna Seems Not To Care About Colorado Massacre

Did Madonna display a galling lack of judgment...or was she merely taking the whole theme of "Express Yourself" to heart? Either way, the iconic entertainer certainly offended some of her fans in Denver Thursday night when she started off her show with a scene involving guns and simulated shooting into the crowd.
Madonna's used the gun-firing skit--which was described on local news KUSA's Facebook account by various fans as graphic and including "a blood-spattered screen"--on previous tour dates. However, of course, Denver is a sensitive city in which to perform such theatrics, given the tragic mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado just three months ago that claimed 12 lives.
The singer has not commented on the Denver show as of yet. She said prior to starting her tour that she is not a gun supporter, and the skit is an artistic statement symbolizing intolerance and "the pain I have felt from having my heart broken."
KUSA, who claimed to have received several calls from offended concert-goers that evening, encouraged fans to debate whether the stunt was appropriate or not--which resulted in a mixed bag of commentary. While many were upset ("I see it as a lack of respect towards our city after such a huge tragedy," "I pray none of the victims/survivors were in that audience"), still more defended the show, citing freedom of speech, oversensitivity regarding what was obviously a simulated stunt, and the fact that the audience should have known Madonna's performance would be controversial given her history.
"If it is such an issue, Denver needs to ban all TV, movies and broadway shows with any guns period," noted one fan.
The gunplay wasn't the only thing fans were buzzing about regarding the Denver date. According to many, Madonna took the stage remarkably late, "stepped on a cross," and took off her top to reveal "OBAMA" printed on her chest.

Taylor Swift Kidnaps Her Boyfriend

Taylor Swift Kidnaps Her Boyfriend Conor and here she explains how she approaches relationships.

“The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks,” she said. “It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritizing it, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard. If I think too hard about a relationship I’ll talk myself out of it…I have rules for a lot of areas of my life. Love is not going to be one of them.”
