The seminar will also focus on the legal aspect of the fashion industry. Mercedes Gonzales, CEO of the New York based Global Purchasing Group, a fashion buying office representing over 200 stores in North and South America will be in Nigeria to facilitate fashion retail business segment. Mercedes R. Gonzalez has been a buyer in the garment industry since 1988.
With over 20 years already clocked in the global world of fashion, she brings a wealth of experience and practical insight on how to broaden your fashion business and discover new markets. Attendees also have the opportunity to interact with her on a one-on-one basis for specific consultation of their designs for a fee.The Intellectual Property/Legal Aspects of the fashion industry will be facilitated by Uche Ofodile (Professor, University of Arkansas School of Law, USA).
Professor Ofodile has an extensive and impressive record of publications, professional Service, and teaching and has received numerous awards and fellowships for her work.
